(shop! shop! shop!) on our trip that we weren't able to do during our "Hamburger Helper Days" in Wilmington. We were so poor! I remember how we used to sell our blood at the Plasma Center, so we'd have enough money to pay the cable bill.
Ahhhhh... Lifestyles of the Young and Foolish. Over the last 24 years, our friendship has experienced highs and lows as we completed our degrees; climbed our career ladders; moved to various parts of the US, and in my case, out of the US; waded through unchartered waters of 80's fashion faux pas; fell in and out of love with Mr. Right Now's, and in Deb's case, had 13 years of wedded blisses and misses with one of 'em; celebrated family gains; and commiserated over family losses.A lifetime of shared friendship indeed.

Deb, it was soooo wonderful spending time with you over the holidays. Thank you for coordinating the Gatlinburg trip and allowing me to share it with family. Mi familia es su familia --- My family is your family! I love ya, Girly-O! See ya in Egypt in September!
